Continuing to provide education for orphaned children despite the great challenges

Digital content: Despite the harsh conditions of war and forced displacement, Al-Amal Orphan Institute continued to provide education for orphaned children despite major challenges, including the lack of dedicated educational spaces due to hosting displaced families in the institute’s building. Thanks to the efforts of teaching and volunteer staff, classes were organized in open spaces using simple available resources to create a safe and stimulating learning environment for the children.
This work is part of the SWITCH Project, a digital initiative that aims to transform human rights and democratic principles into tangible practices in the lives of residents of the Gaza Strip. It is implemented in partnership with Pal-Think for Strategic Studies and Ajyal for Creativity and Development.
