The (UNDSS) has issued its weekly report, indicating 223 violations occurred during the week in the Gaza Strip.
The weekly security update map recorded 223 security incidents across Gaza Strip during the period 8–15 February 2026, reflecting an approximate 10% decrease compared to the previous week. However, incident rates remain high compared to the period following the ceasefire.
The incidents were distributed as follows:
Gaza: 65 incidents
Khan Younis: 61 incidents
Rafah: 36 incidents
Middle Area: 31 incidents
North Gaza: 30 incidents
Incidents were concentrated along Salah al-Din Road and areas west of the “Yellow Line,” and included airstrikes, live fire, and ground maneuvers. These developments continue to affect civilian movement, displacement patterns, and humanitarian access. The persistence of this level of incidents reflects an unstable security environment that further exacerbates the vulnerability of residents and displaced populations across the governorates of the Strip.
