The story of a girl deprived of her right to education by war
A visual story telling the journey of a 10-year-old girl who once excelled in school but was deprived of her right to education due to the war. She now spends her time making beaded bracelets — a quiet expression of the dreams she once chased in her classroom.
This work is part of the SWITCH Project, a digital initiative that aims to transform human rights and democratic principles into tangible practices in the lives of residents of the Gaza Strip. It is implemented in partnership with Pal-Think for Strategic Studies and Ajyal for Creativity and Development.
